My 41 Hours

So between Friday morning and late Saturday night I stayed up for about 41 hours, and here's my recap of it.

So I woke up Friday morning around 8 or 9. Ate breakfast as I watched the last little bit of The Regular Guys on their webcam and then watched the Regular Guys Aftershow. Then I showered and went off to Panera to grab some lunch.

Of course, Panera failed once again to have the soups that I like. That's like 3 times in a row. That really bothers me. Anyways, I came back home, ate, and watched the night's before Conan. Then off to Atlanta Fest Day 2.

Day 2 of Atlanta Fest was all right. Saw Jeremy Camp, and some other smaller bands. Stayed and watched through Camp's performance. While I was there, some friends from high school notified me that they were all in town Friday night and wanted to hang out. So I left Atlanta Fest at 10:45. Went home real quick. Then off to Atlantic Station where some of my friends live. Arrived at 12:15 AM. We did some Rockband. Watched some television. Talked. Made inappropriate jokes as always. And did not sleep. I left there around 6:30 AM. Drove home. Showered. Got ready for church.

Left for church around 8AM. As I always do, stopped at Chick-fil-a to grab some breakfast. Arrived at church around 840. Unlocked the building and then ate. I had to teach the Youth Sabbath School, which went well. Of course on the day I have zero sleep, the most kids ever decide to actually come to Sabbath School. Then church starts. I made it through everything until the pastor came to speak. Once he started, I went back to the pastor's study, turned off the lights, turned on the speaker so I could hear the service, and tried to rest some on the ground. I think I may have passed out for 5 or 10 minutes...maybe. Startled, I jumped up when I heard the closing song being sung. Stayed around for a minute then took off to my home.

Arrived at the house. Changed. Then off to Atlanta Fest Day 3...the final day. Stopped at the most ridiculously ghetto gas station to grab an energy drink, a coke, and a snack. Somehow, I escaped the gas station alive. Arrived at the fest around 2. Totally zoned out for most of day 3. Just observed the people, the bands, and the drama that was occurring. Always fun. Watched all of the Casting Crowns performance and did the traditional candle lighting thingy dingy. Then us Fish Folk went to Waffle House in Stone Mountain. That was interesting. After that I somehow made the 5 minute drive home. Finally went to bed around 2 AM. However, I woke up today around noon. Don't feel too tired, but have a nice little headache.

Anyways that was that. A fun 41 hours or so.

By the way, I discovered something about my tastes in music last night. I like originality when it comes to music. Something different. I think that's why I prefer say TobyMac and Shane & Shane over Casting Crowns or Big Daddy Weave. Cowns and Weave are good, but they just sound so typical. I also love Weird Al and Tom Petty, and they're both very original. I don't know. Just something I noticed.
