I bought the new B-52s album yesterday. It's their first album since 1992 or so. I only bought it b/c I remember as a little kid that my favorite song was "Love Shack." In my opinion, the CD rocks. I think they fit in very nicely with the pop music of today that leans toward the dance music genre. You have to love Fred Schnieder's spoken word singing throughout the songs. It adds a nice comedic element to the songs without being too cheese-ball.
Must Watch TV This Week: The Tonight Show on Thursday night. The guests? Conan O'brien AND Anderson Cooper. You simply cannot beat that lineup.
Douchebags of the Week: Chelsea Clinton for not answering a legit question. Grow up. When asked about the whole Monica Lewinsky thing and how it affected her mom, Chelsea answered with a "I don't think it's any of your business." How convenient. She's just like her fence-riding non-committal mother. A chip off the ol' c#nt. if you ask me.
#2: Keith Olbermann, formerly of SportsCenter and currently host of the commie-liberal program known as Countdown with Keith Olbermann. I do think he's a funny man, but he is such a douchebag as well. He makes a lot of false statements about the Bush administration daily, but he made one last night that was flat out wrong and ridiculous. He said that the troop surge failed and ripped the Bush admin. for even doing the surge. He's just an anti-american clinton-loving socialist. Hey Keith, stick to sports and lay off of Bill O'reilly or Bill-O as you call him....bill-o beats the heck out of you EVERY single night in the ratings, so until you beat him, you have no room to talk. While I agree that Bill-O is also a douchebag like yourself, more people like him as evidenced by his ratings....so shut-up keith olbermann.
American Idol Results tonight...My Prediction: Chikezie, aka the black guy, will be kicked off tonight. After re-evaluating the talent, one of these folks will be your next American Idol: Brooke White, Carly Smithson, David Cook. Guaranteed.
